Summary

Beloved author Kasie West once again delivers a witty, lighthearted romance that will charm her legions of fans and is perfect for readers of Jenny Han and Huntley Fitzpatrick。

At sixteen, Hadley Moore knows exactly who she is—a swimmer who will earn a scholarship to college。 Totally worth all the hard work, even if her aching shoulders don’t agree。

So when a guy dressed as Hollywood’s latest action hero, Heath Hall, crashes her swim meet, she isn’t amused。 Instead, she’s determined to make sure he doesn’t bother her again。 Only she’s not sure exactly who he is。

The swim meet isn’t the first event the imposter has interrupted, but a little digging turns up a surprising number of people who could be Heath Hall, including Hadley's ex-boyfriend and her best friend’s crush。 She soon finds herself getting caught up in the mysterious world of the fake Heath Hall。

As Hadley gets closer to uncovering the masked boy’s identity, she also discovers some uncomfortable truths about herself—like she might resent the long shadow her late brother has cast over her family, that she isn’t as happy as she pretends to be with her life choices…and that she's falling for the last guy she ever thought she would like。

3。5Typical cutesy Kasie West book! Ugh her books are just perfect for the Spring time and I absolutely recommend this audiobook!

:( I did not like this one at all (even though the main character is a swimmer!) I think the concept was great, but the pacing was offNote for future Sheena: Nope

Another winner for Chick-lit from Kasie West。 Already anxiously awaiting her next release to be in paperback。

3。5 I love her books。 All her female characters are so unique in terms of profession they follow。 This book was no exception。I loved the first book in the series Love, Life, and the List。 I loved this book so much。It was cute and fluffy like every other book of her's。 But I just felt that I did not like it as much as I liked her other books except Lucky in Love。I loved Jackson he was adorable and funny but I could not understand Hadley apart from her family matters。 3。5 I love her books。 All her female characters are so unique in terms of profession they follow。 This book was no exception。I loved the first book in the series Love, Life, and the List。 I loved this book so much。It was cute and fluffy like every other book of her's。 But I just felt that I did not like it as much as I liked her other books except Lucky in Love。I loved Jackson he was adorable and funny but I could not understand Hadley apart from her family matters。 。。。more

I loved this story so much! The characters, their chemistry, their friendship was perfect! I also really liked that I couldn't guess who was behind the mask。 It gave a mystery element which I really love in books。 I also enjoyed the cameos from some characters from the previous two books。 The writing as always was super cute。 Can't wait for more stories from this author! Alrightie。 This book was grand。 I loved that the main character’s hobby was swimming。 It makes me really want to swim。。。 I felt so bad for Hadley。 How she had to attempt to be as good as her brother。 Even though her brother was dead。 Jackson coming into her life really made it much easier for her。This book is pretty clean。 It just had minor cussing and kissing。 *4 stars*

Rebecca Klakulak

Pretty good。

I love Kasie West's books! She has this way of writing that draws you in and connects you with these characters! This one didn't disappoint!! I love how Hadley's so focused on swimming she forgets to live and you get to go on this journey with her as she finds herself outside of her dead brother's shadow and swimming。 It's beautifully written and heart wrenching and happiness! “You need to live in the present and own your place there in the lives of those around you。 You need to let go of your fear of acceptance, let people in, and demand what’s yours。”

I like being able to recommend Kasie West to junior high students looking for a romance without worrying about it not being age appropriate。

Alison Langerman

Cute character and a sweet message。 Not sure the main character was very likable, but for the most part it was a fun read。

Kate

Not my favorite of hers。

Jessica Knutson

I really liked this one。 Author did a great job on natural osmosis of a relationship, especially one that starts out with dislike (which many people totally botch)。

Because of Kasie West books, it always feels like summer

Started out slow but eventually got rolling。 I thought I had already marked it as read but I forgot in the post holiday madness I guess。

I enjoyed reading this book and thought it had a very good message to tell。 The main theme is conquering your fears and discovering what life is like outside your comfort zone。 The main character is constantly living under the shadow if her dead brother and because of it she constantly has the need to excel in everything in order to make her parents proud。 With the help of a local legend though she is able to conquer her fears。

Caroline

Very weird premise but it sort of came together。 Started off slow but ended well。 Easy fun。

Is it me, or are Kasie West's books steadily decreasing in quality??? I really did not enjoy this one and I am usually a big fan。 The last few books have really not been up to the standard of those published a few years ago。 Very disappointing。 This book about facing fears ended up being flat and boring。 I'd give it a miss。 Is it me, or are Kasie West's books steadily decreasing in quality??? I really liked this one。 I don't know why it continues to surprise me when I like a Kasie West book because all of them that I've read so far have been pretty quality。 I love the romance (comfort reading), but I've also liked the other elements that make it a deeper read。*Potential spoilers* In this one, the main girl had a brother that died before she was even born, yet she still lives her life in his shadow。 I was involved in this part of the story just as much as the romantic parts。 Kasie Wes I really liked this one。 I don't know why it continues to surprise me when I like a Kasie West book because all of them that I've read so far have been pretty quality。 I love the romance (comfort reading), but I've also liked the other elements that make it a deeper read。*Potential spoilers* In this one, the main girl had a brother that died before she was even born, yet she still lives her life in his shadow。 I was involved in this part of the story just as much as the romantic parts。 Kasie West does a great job in this book with making the other parts feel just as important and well written as the romance we all come for。 。。。more

I wanted a light read。 Where I don't have to think deeply or feel so much ~ Just read for fun。 I guess I did the best thing, “reading” it as an Audiobook - I loved Kasie west style。 I heard so much about her work but I think this is my first time reading something for her ( if I'm not mistaken )。 。The idea of an anonymous individual fascinates me - I like how they can do stuff they want / fear as in here without being known or judge - we all need this at least once in our life。 Best character in I wanted a light read。 Where I don't have to think deeply or feel so much ~ Just read for fun。 I guess I did the best thing, “reading” it as an Audiobook - I loved Kasie west style。 I heard so much about her work but I think this is my first time reading something for her ( if I'm not mistaken )。 。The idea of an anonymous individual fascinates me - I like how they can do stuff they want / fear as in here without being known or judge - we all need this at least once in our life。 Best character in the book ( Jackson ) For SURE。 I don't have so much to write about it。 It was good, but I don't think I'll be rereading it anytime in the future。 So I gave it 3 stars。 。。。more

Kasie West contemporary romances are great fun reads。 Hadley Moore was a great main character and she had honest reactions and coping to her problems。 She wants to be the best, or as Jackson, the adorable love interest, says “Moore。” This desire is both her coping mechanism and one of her faults。 As she connects with the fake Heath Hall that’s keeps showing up and conquering fears, she takes a serious look at her life and comes to some realizations about her life。 Jackson is supportive and fun a Kasie West contemporary romances are great fun reads。 Hadley Moore was a great main character and she had honest reactions and coping to her problems。 She wants to be the best, or as Jackson, the adorable love interest, says “Moore。” This desire is both her coping mechanism and one of her faults。 As she connects with the fake Heath Hall that’s keeps showing up and conquering fears, she takes a serious look at her life and comes to some realizations about her life。 Jackson is supportive and fun and honest, he has a real connection with Hadley and a real desire to help her。I always enjoy Kasie West reads and this was another good one。 。。。more

This was my first Kasie west book, and now I know what people mean when they say fluffy YA= Kasie west 💟 I was a bit wary to start this, because I was pretty sure that I would hate it。 But since I was buddy reading it with a friend, I kept going and TADA! I found a new fav author。 Maybe not a favourite favourite book。。。but definitely a good author!

Whenever I am in the mood for an “easy” cute read, I always find myself reaching for Kasie West。I really enjoyed this story and all of the small subplots that we follow throughout。 I also appreciate the emotional depths we explore in this particular novel。Kasie West knows how to write books that help me get out of reading slumps。 What can I say??

LuvToRead!

Loved It How many of us are willing to face our fears? Especially if those fears involve matters of the heart。 How many of our decisions are driving by fears。。。 fear of acceptance, fear of being loved, fear of not being loved?
